Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Torrance, CA is seeking a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export to manage the export process by ocean, including carrier booking, cargo tracking and customer communication. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail and excellent verbal and written English, with preferred experience in freight forwarding or ocean exports.

The base pay range is $23.58 to $29.47 per hour, with compensation based on experience and geographic location.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience in ocean exports highly desirable.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean exports, including carrier booking and movement through transportation channels.
• Prepare documentation for customs, including invoices, packing lists and bills of lading.
• Track shipments and provide customers with regular updates on status.
• Manage customer relationships and address concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade laws.
