Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Ocean Import to manage import shipments from vessel to destination. You will coordinate with carriers, brokers and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires experience in ocean imports, strong English communication, and excellent organizational skills to support customers and compliance with trade laws. This position is based in the Boston area and offers full-time employment.

Qualifications

Experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred.
Ocean imports experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including invoices and bills of lading.
Ensure compliance with regulations and trade laws.
Maintain excellent relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
