Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Ocean Operations Agent II to coordinate the day-to-day ocean import and export activities for international freight forwarding shipments to and from the USA. You will work with customers to gather requirements, prepare quotations, and manage shipments in CargoWise.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and adherence to company guidelines while supporting regional partners and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Qualify customer shipping requirements, gather regulatory and documentation details for quotation.
• Prepare profitable quotations and ensure accurate data entry for shipments.
• Process shipments in Cargowise: bookings, routing, milestones, AES entry, scheduling.
• Coordinate day-to-day ocean import/export operations and review orders/docs.
• Track shipments, communicate delays or issues, and resolve customer problems.
• Ensure shipments billed per company guidelines and meet KPIs.
