GLOVIS America Inc. seeks an Administrator to manage vessel arrivals, departures and cargo operations on the U.S. East Coast and Canada. You will optimize schedules, coordinate with terminals and service providers, and ensure compliant documentation and cost efficiency.

Based in Fort Lee, NJ, this role requires strong coordination, regulatory awareness, and leadership of cross-functional teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills and MS Office suite.
• Strong ability to identify and correct errors.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage vessel rotation schedules and optimize arrivals/departures.
• Coordinate with terminals, stevedores, and service providers to minimize delays.
• Communicate with port authorities and agents to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor cargo movements and implement performance improvements.
• Manage import/export processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support budgeting and cost analysis for shipping operations.
