GLOVIS America, Inc. in Tacoma, WA seeks a Supervisor, Ocean Carrier Services I to oversee vessel schedules, port calls, and cargo operations across U.S. and Canadian ports, ensuring safe, efficient execution and timely service delivery.

You will support management reporting, develop new services, and build strong relationships with ports, terminals, customers, and vendors, while preparing executive-level recommendations on performance, costs, and risks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel schedules, port calls, and cargo operations across U.S. and Canadian ports.
• Review berth availability, terminal schedules, vessel requirements, and constraints to optimize plans.
• Coordinate with terminals, ports, stevedores, vessel operators, agents, and vendors to minimize delays.
• Lead and support new projects and service development, including planning and follow-up.
• Build and maintain relationships with ports, customers, vendors, and industry partners.
