HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Florida is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN role to deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will administer therapeutic treatments and help patients participate in exercises as part of their plan of care.

Qualifications include a current COTA credential, BLS within 30 days of start date, and an Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• OTA/Occupational Therapy Assistant credential.
• Associate Degree is required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by providing a variety of delegated therapeutic services, in accordance with licensing and regulations. Under the supervision of the primary Occupational Therapist, the COTA Assistant administers therapeutic treatment and engages and supports the patient in therapeutic activities and exercise regimes. The COTA strives to achieve the goals of the physician's plan of care and to support patients throughout the program.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
