Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Muncie, IN. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will support therapy plans, assist with ADL training, and help patients improve function and independence.

The role requires an OTA license/certification and CPR is preferred. You'll work in an interdisciplinary team with strong emphasis on education for patients and families, documentation, and ongoing progress reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current OTA licensure or certification is required; CPR certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans created by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress; report findings to supervising OTA.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and progress strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist OT in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
