Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in New Hampshire is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility team. You will help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments.

You will be a healer and a teammate, focused on the whole patient and collaborating with peers to restore independence and improve quality of life, under the guidance of the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and work toward restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with peers and refer patients as needed to ensure optimal care.
