Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support in-facility rehab teams across skilled nursing and outpatient settings. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and help patients regain independence through individualized therapy.

You will work under the Director of Rehab, collaborate with therapists, and provide compassionate care to improve mobility, balance, and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial NBCOT certification obtained.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help restore independence.
• Collaborate with rehab team to support patient-centered care.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as directed.
• Support patients and families with compassionate care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards

Initial Certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
