Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in-facility, reporting to the Director of Rehab. You will implement OT programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapies to restore function.

You will collaborate with a team and refer as needed to help patients thrive. The role emphasizes patient-centered care in a supportive environment with opportunities for mentorship, CEUs, and growth across facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain independence.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide patient-centered care in a compassionate atmosphere.

Education

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice
