Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement OT programs in an in-facility setting and to follow established recovery plans. You will deliver therapy treatments, work with a multidisciplinary team, and focus on restoring patients’ independence with compassionate care.

As part of Powerback, you will contribute to personalized care, collaborate with rehab staff, and support patients across facilities with growth opportunities and patient-centered approaches.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with a team and refer to other providers as needed to ensure patient care.
• Provide patient-centered care with compassion in a facility setting.
• Support the goals of helping patients thrive and return to daily activities.
