Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs in facility environments and help patients regain independence. You will follow recovery plans, deliver treatments, and support overall goals under the guidance of the Director of Rehab, while prioritizing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and maintain an individual-centered approach.
• Collaborate with team and make referrals as needed to support patient care.
• Uphold patient-first care in a compassionate atmosphere.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification (NBCOT)

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in state of practice
