Bertram Nursing is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will plan and administer OT treatments to residents, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, to relieve pain and improve function.

Documentation must be thorough and timely in line with policy and regulations. Ideal candidates hold a Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred.

Formación

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of OT treatment practices and documentation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide OT services under supervision of a licensed OT per physician orders.
• Respond to service requests and coordinate with the OT team.
• Ensure treatments follow the care plan and document thoroughly and timely.
• Provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.

Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate

• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required

• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred

• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices

• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
