Job summary

Park Place Care Center is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered therapy to residents, helping them regain independence and quality of life under OT supervision.

Requirements include an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential, SNF or long-term care experience preferred, and familiarity with Net Health EHR. Flexible PRN shifts and a collaborative work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
• Current standing with regulatory agencies.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiar with Net Health EHR.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing




• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist




• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist




• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care




• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
