Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Media, PA is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Rehabilitation Team. The role involves assisting the OT, delivering and documenting therapy per the care plan, and participating in patient care and staffing meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program approved by relevant accreditation standards.
• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License and able to practice in licensure state(s).
• Initial certification obtained from NBCOT.

• Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the OT.
• Responsible for delivery and documentation of occupational therapy services per residents' plan of care.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the OT.

2. Responsible for effective and efficient delivery and documentation of occupational therapy services as outlined in the residents' plan of care.

3. Fully participates in patient care, staffing, and other related meetings, supervised by OT and DOR.

4. Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of a school of Occupation Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association and Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education standards.

2. Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant License and able to practice in the state(s) of licensure.

3. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

4. Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
