Job summary

Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Media, PA is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Rehabilitation Team. The COTA will support OT services, participate in treatment planning, and help deliver quality care to residents in a post-acute setting.

The role requires graduation from an OTA program, an active OTA license, NBCOT certification, and strong communication skills to coordinate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an OTA program approved by AOTA/ACOTE.
• Valid OTA license and able to practice in the state(s) of licensure.
• Initial certification from NBCOT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care under the direction of the OT.
• Responsible for effective delivery and documentation of occupational therapy services as outlined in the residents' plan of care.
• Fully participates in patient care, staffing, and other related meetings, supervised by OT and DOR.
• Performs other duties as assigned to provide quality care to residents.
