Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. You will implement established OT programs, track patient progress, and deliver therapy to help restore independence and function.

You will work under the Director of Rehab, collaborating with nurses and therapists in a patient-centered environment that emphasizes ongoing growth, mentoring, and high-quality care for our diverse population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Assist patients to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with a care team and refer to other professionals as needed to support patient progress.
• Provide patient-centered, compassionate care in a facility setting.
