Synchrony Rehab in Howell, MI is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under an Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary team, delivering therapeutic interventions and ADL training.

Requires OTA degree and state licensure; 0-1 years of experience eligible; CPR preferred. The role emphasizes documentation, patient education, and collaboration with therapists to support patient progress.

Competenze

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Licensing: Must have and maintain a current state OTA licensure or certification.
• CPR: Current CPR certification, preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
