Job summary

Synchrony in US-MI Romeo is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will assist with therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions in an interdisciplinary setting.

The role requires an OTA degree, state licensure, and 0-1 years of experience; CPR certification preferred. The position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits as described.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses: Must have and maintain a current OTA licensure or certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
