Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in a collaborative setting. You will administer therapeutic exercises and ADL training, supporting patient independence while documenting responses for the supervising OT.

Must hold a valid OTA license with CPR preferred; 0–1 years of experience is expected. Benefits after the first month include health/dental/vision, weekly pay, and a strong 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in OTA.
• 0–1 years of experience in OT services.
• Must hold current state OTA licensure or certification.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe and document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising OTA.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Other duties as assigned.
