Job summary

Synchrony Rehab seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapists in an interdisciplinary setting in Michigan. You will assist with therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and related interventions under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.

Must have and maintain a valid OTA licensure/certification with CPR certification preferred. 0–1 years experience is typical for this entry-level role; orientation and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold state OTA licensure or certification and maintain current status.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 years is typical for entry OTA role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Observe and document patients' responses and progress, reporting findings to the supervising occupational therapist.
