Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents in a skilled nursing facility in Mocksville, NC. The OTA will assist in restoring function and promoting independence under supervision of the OT and DOR.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Return patient to optimal physical function in SNF setting and facilitate goals with therapy team.
• Instruct patients in maintenance post-discharge through education, independent exercise, and activity modification.
