Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is currently seeking a qualified occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will help implement individualized care plans and support patient progress toward functional goals.

You will discuss treatments with patients, document responses, communicate with the OT, rehab director, and facility staff, and operate standard occupational therapy equipment to deliver quality care.

Qualifications

• Communication with patients is required to discuss treatments and progress.
• Documentation of patient conditions and responses after each visit.
• Ability to operate standard occupational therapy equipment as part of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs under the supervision of an OT.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
