Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation seeks qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our team. Working under an occupational therapist, you will assist in executing individualized plans of care and supporting patient treatment to achieve functional outcomes.

You will help develop and implement treatment programs, support all phases of therapy, document patient progress, and maintain ongoing communication with the supervising OT and facility staff.

Qualifications

• OTA must work under the guidance of an occupational therapist.
• Experience supporting treatment plans and patient care.
• Ability to document patient responses after visits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
