Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist and assist in implementing individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.

You will help with all phases of occupational therapy, discuss progress with patients, and document responses while coordinating with the OT, rehab director, and facility staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

Assisting under supervision of an OT to deliver care.
Supporting development and implementation of treatment plans.
Documenting patient progress and responses to treatment.
Using standard OT equipment and tools during therapy.

Responsibilities

Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
