Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. As an Enhance Rehabilitation OTA, you will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and be part of a growing team, assisting treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will ensure quality treatment with excellent functional outcomes, develop and implement treatment programs, assist with all phases of therapy,

Qualifications

• Assist patients under supervision of an Occupational Therapist using a patient-specific plan of care.
• Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Maintain continuous communication with the Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate standard occupational therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record progress in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
