All Care Therapies is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting in the Greater Las Vegas area. We deliver exceptional care for pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions. As a leader in rehabilitative care, we aim to address the evolving challenges of therapy providers.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
• Monitor activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress weekly in the company's EMR system.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the treatment program.
• Demonstrate exercises to improve daily functioning and relieve pain.
• Complete clinical notes promptly in the EMR system.
• Verify client information through interviews and review of medical history.
• Follow treatment plans developed with the occupational therapist, teaching techniques for mobility and muscle stretching.
• Ensure activities are performed correctly, providing feedback to the therapist as needed.
• Maintain accurate pediatric occupational therapy records.
• Record billing information for services rendered.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to participate in continuing education
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Valid state driver's license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management skills
