All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding therapy team in the Greater Las Vegas area. We deliver exceptional care for pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions. COTA Responsibilities:

  • Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
  • Monitor patients' activities to ensure proper performance and provide encouragement.
  • Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care planning.
  • Document patient progress weekly in the company's EMR system.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the treatment program under supervision.
  • Demonstrate exercises to improve daily functioning and alleviate pain.
  • Complete clinical notes promptly using the EMR system.
  • Verify client information through interviews and review of medical history.
  • Follow treatment plans collaboratively developed with the occupational therapist, teaching techniques for safe movement and stretching.
  • Monitor activities, encourage proper performance, and communicate any concerns to the therapist.
  • Maintain accurate pediatric occupational therapy records.
  • Record billing information for services rendered.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment following standards and regulations.
  • Adhere to professional, legal, and organizational policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills
