All Care Therapies is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting, expanding to the Greater Las Vegas area. We serve pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions, striving to address the evolving challenges of therapy providers.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
• Monitor patient activities, ensuring correct performance and providing encouragement.
• Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care planning.
• Document patient progress weekly in the company's EMR system.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the treatment program under supervision.
• Demonstrate exercises to improve daily task performance and pain relief.
• Complete clinical notes promptly and accurately.
• Verify client information through interviews and review of medical history.
• Follow treatment plans developed with the occupational therapist, teaching techniques for daily activities.
• Monitor activities, provide encouragement, and escalate issues to the therapist as needed.
• Maintain pediatric occupational therapy records and record billing information.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment following legal standards.

Qualifications:

• Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to participate in continuing education
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Valid State driver’s license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management skills
