All Care Therapies is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting, expanding to the Greater Las Vegas area. We deliver exceptional care for pediatric patients with various conditions and disorders.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
• Monitor activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress regularly.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in treatment techniques under OT supervision.
• Demonstrate exercises to improve daily functioning and relieve pain.
• Complete clinical notes promptly using the company's EMR system.
• Verify client information and medical history to confirm treatment purpose.
• Follow treatment plans and teach techniques for mobility and stretching.
• Monitor and encourage correct activity performance, reporting issues to the therapist.
• Maintain pediatric occupational therapy records.
• Record billing information for services rendered.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Adhere to professional and legal standards.

Qualifications:

• Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license (required).
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (required).
• Pediatric experience (preferred).
• Current CPR certification.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
