All Care Therapies is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting, serving pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding therapy team in the Greater Las Vegas area.

COTA Responsibilities:

• Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
• Monitor patient activities, ensure correct performance, and encourage progress.
• Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care.
• Document patient progress weekly using the company’s EMR system.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in treatment techniques under supervision of the OT.
• Demonstrate exercises to improve daily functioning and reduce pain.
• Complete clinical notes promptly and accurately.
• Verify client information through interviews and review of medical history.
• Follow treatment plans, teach techniques for mobility and stretching.
• Monitor activities, provide encouragement, and alert therapists to any issues.
• Maintain pediatric occupational therapy records and record billing information.
• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license (required)
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (required)
• Pediatric experience (preferred but not required)
• Current CPR certification
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication and time management skills
