Job summary

Sweetwater Care and Rehab in California is seeking licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants to join our in-house therapy team. We offer a family-friendly environment, collaboration with IDT, and a diverse patient population.

You will contribute to program development, document care, and participate in conferences to optimize patient outcomes. We welcome therapists at all experience levels with strong communication and writing skills who value teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant credential required.
• Experience level: open to therapists at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in the medical record.
• Assist in maintaining department operations.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress and plans.
• Participate in staff training programs.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy and procedures.
• Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.
