Job summary

Brookside Care Center is expanding its in-house Therapy Team in Stockton, CA, and seeks a dedicated COTA to support patient care and rehabilitation within a close-knit unit.

You will work under the Occupational Therapist, document treatments, and collaborate with the IDT to monitor progress and plans. Flexible scheduling, health insurance benefits, PTO, and retirement options are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in good standing.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to documentation guidelines.
• Record treatments and progress notes in medical records.
• Assist in maintaining department operations.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Record treatment charges per facility policy and procedures.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress.
• Participate in training programs for staff in the facility.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
