Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program

Computer Skills:

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Summary: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and patients, and adhering to all regulations and company guidelines. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supervising rehab techs where required, and case management. Maintain professionalism and uphold Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in improving patients' functional abilities under OT supervision
  • Develop and support a strong occupational therapy assistant program
  • Enhance clinical and management skills through ongoing education and collaboration
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on industry issues
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and appropriate delivery methods
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions
