Responsibilities

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Summary: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with patients, facilities, and clients. Deliver quality care, including ongoing treatment, supervision of Rehab Techs (if required), and case management, while adhering to all regulations and Reliant guidelines.

Essential Duties:

• Optimize patients' functional abilities under OT supervision
• Develop and build a strong occupational therapy assistant program
• Enhance professional skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on industry issues
• Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and appropriate delivery methods
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions
