Able Rehab Staffing LLC is an independent, clinician-owned, local staffing company in Colorado, recruiting healthcare professionals for PRN employment. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace. We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the home health setting to serve patients in the Lakewood area.

This PRN position allows you to set your own schedule and choose your geography, taking only the visits you prefer. It offers flexibility to be very busy or to supplement other employment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional experience (home health experience not required) and a current Colorado COTA license. Pay rates depend on experience and are paid per visit. We welcome applications from new grads and all experience levels.

Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA):

1. Conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate development and rehabilitation of individuals with mental, physical, or emotional handicaps.
2. Implement activities such as manual arts and crafts; practice functional, prevocational, vocational, and homemaking skills; and participate in sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities aimed at developing or regaining physical or mental functions or adjusting to disabilities.
3. Consult with rehabilitation team members to select appropriate activities and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic interventions.
4. Select constructive activities suited to the individual's physical capacity, intelligence, and interests to promote independence, prepare for employment, restore functions, and assist in adjustment to disabilities.
5. Teach clients skills and techniques for participation in activities.
