Life Care Centers of America in Morehead, KY is seeking an OT to provide direct rehab care upon physician referral. The role requires NBCOT certification, state licensure, and CPR compliance, with new grads welcome to apply.
Responsibilities include following treatment plans, coordinating with OTAs and rehab staff, documenting patient progress, and ensuring safe, ethical care in a post-acute setting. A sign-on bonus is available.
Formación
- NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional
- Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT)
- Currently licensed in applicable State and active throughout employment
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current
Responsabilidades
- Follow occupational treatment plans for patients
- Establish, assess, and modify realistic goals
- Oversee care by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students
- Chart appropriately and timely
- Utilize therapy software appropriately
- Exhibit excellent customer service and positive attitude
- Assist in evacuation of patients
- Maintain regular attendance
- Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
