Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients per physician referral. You will work within Life Care standards, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Applicants should be NBCOT-certified, hold an active OT license, and have or be pursuing 1 year of experience; new grads welcome. CPR must be current; EHR/documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Current state license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (activities of daily living).
• Establish, assess, and modify measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely; document progress.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and positive attitude toward patients.
