Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs, in compliance with state regulations and professional standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, current licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification, with NBOT certification preferred. The team emphasizes growth, collaboration, and participation in department projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state (temporary license up to 90 days).
• BLS certification is required.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs.
• Adhere to State Practice Act and governing bodies in the state of practice.
• Promote growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
