Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs to help patients reach maximum potential. The role requires licensure in OT and a current BLS certification, with eligibility for state licensure and potential temporary license support up to 90 days.

Candidates should be prepared to respond to emergencies and contribute to department growth through special projects and coordinated activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential.
• Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.
