Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care across diverse programs, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and NBOT guidelines. You will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients, documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, active OT license, NBOT certification, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license or eligibility; temporary license up to 90 days.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs within state rules.
• Promotes growth and development of the department and coordinates activities in patient care programs.
