Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to organize and deliver medically prescribed programs, providing patient care while adhering to state practice acts and National Board standards. This role supports departmental growth through special projects and coordinates patient care activities across the team.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited OT program, holds or is eligible for licensure in the hiring state, and maintains current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs.
• Maintain compliance with State Practice Act and governing bodies.
• Support department growth by assisting in special projects.
• Coordinate activities in patient care programs.
