Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs. You will apply treatment skills within the scope of the State Practice Act and comply with governing bodies in the state of practice.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, current OT license or eligibility in Oklahoma (temporary license up to 90 days), and current BLS. Must be able to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in the hiring state (may use temporary license up to 90 days).
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs to achieve maximum potential, within the State Practice Act and governing bodies.
• Demonstrates treatment skills within scope, following regulations and with professional standards.
• Supports department growth by assisting with special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
