Job summary

MedCadre in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and functional limitations. You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, creating plans, guiding ADL training, recommending adaptive equipment, coordinating with physicians and other therapists, and documenting progress through notes and discharge summaries.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification current.
• 1 year of OT experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation and ADL training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional skills.
• Assist with ADLs including dressing, grooming, bathing, and feeding.
• Provide training in adaptive techniques and home safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
