Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services and help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life. This permanent on-site role is based in Monterey, California.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, guide activities to enhance strength, mobility, activities of daily living, and educate patients and caregivers. California license, NBCOT, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current California OT license.
• NBCOT certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe activities.
• Promote functional independence, safety, and participation in daily activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress, and patient outcomes.

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

OTR license (state of California)

NBCOT certification

BLS certification
