Job summary

MARIONVALLEY is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and health team members, and maintain documentation in medical records. You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence, and supervise Assistants as required.

You will educate residents and families, participate in care conferences, and ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state is required; continuing education per state practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and support staff.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families.
• Document timely and compliant records per regulations and payer requirements.
