Job summary

Ojai Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to support rehabilitation goals.

The role includes supervising COTA and students, ensuring compliant documentation, and educating residents and families on home programs and safety strategies.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine occupational therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students in direct resident care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation compliant with facility and payer requirements.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
