Novato Healthcare Center in California seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care, evaluate and treat patients, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians.

You will supervise Certified OT Assistants and aides, document care in the medical record, coordinate with the rehab team, educate families, and help maintain compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT licensure in the state and CPR certification.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation preferred; neurological/cardiac rehab preferred.
• Ability to supervise and direct assistants and aides.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and develop treatment plans with physician approvals.
• Supervise OT Assistants and aides per policy and regulations.
• Document evaluations, progress, discharge notes, and billing-related entries.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team and discharge planners.
• Educate families and staff; facilitate ADL equipment and safety.
