Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist in Louisville, KY to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and help improve mobility and independence. You will communicate with families, physicians, and health team members while documenting services in medical records.

You will supervise COTAs and aides, provide in-services for staff, participate in care conferences, and ensure compliant documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state and maintain licensure.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine OT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise COTA, aides, and students in direct resident care.
• Communicate progress and goals with physicians, nurses, residents, and families.
• Complete timely documentation and ensure infection control and safety protocols.
