Job summary

HaciendaOaks is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff OT in resident care and treatment planning. The role requires completing accurate documentation and maintaining safety with infection control protocols, while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have an accredited COTA program and comfort using Net Health and PointClickCare, with strong communication skills to educate residents and families about goals and home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Proficient in computer data entry and using clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care as directed.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility, government, and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs.
